Who Owns the Fish?

This brainteaser, reportedly written by Einstein is difficult and Einstein said that 98% of the people in the world could not figure it out.  Which percentage are you in?

There are 5 houses in 5 different colors. In each house lives a man with a different nationality. The 5 owners drink a certain type of beverage, smoke a certain brand of cigar, and keep a certain pet. No owners have the same pet, smoke the same brand of cigar or drink the same beverage.

The question is: "Who owns the fish?"

The Brit lives in the red house.
The Swede keeps dogs as pets.
The Dane drinks tea.
The green house is on the left of the white house.
The green house's owner drinks coffee.
The person who smokes Pall Mall rears birds.
The owner of the yellow house smokes Dunhill.
The man living in the center house drinks milk.
The Norwegian lives in the first house.
The man who smokes Blends lives next to the one who keeps cats.
The man who keeps the horse lives next to the man who smokes Dunhill.
The owner who smokes Bluemasters drinks beer.
The German smokes Prince.
The Norwegian lives next to the blue house.
The man who smokes Blends has a neighbor who drinks water

If you get the correct answer, congratulations, you are one of the exclusive group of 121,348,731 people in the world who can.  Via Coudal LINK

Young man, laughed the farmer,
You're sort of a fool!
You'll never catch fish in McElligot's pool!

Single Malt Fish Stories

Mmmmm single malt

The stories are about people with an unusual passion for quality, craft and attention to detail, a trait we share at the Balvenie Distillery.

If anything has a reputation for producing extravagant and entertaining stories it must be fishing, and now you have a chance to share your experiences of leviathan with a wider audience than your usual cynical fishing companions.

Zebrafish zipping around an aquarium have led researchers to a gene that may play an important role in human skin color, an attribute that has served as a basis for social discrimination through the ages.
