Marie and I day tripped up to Port Townsend last weekend to visit our friend and fish artist extraordinaire Mike Savlen and his girlfriend Donna Lee. Earlier in the week, Donna Lee had pulled my name out of a hat in a drawing for Mike's original painting Sol Duc Steel. So we're now the proud owners of another original Savlen, our second in the family. Our first was one of his fresh art series.
Even though you can't own the original, two different sizes of limited edition prints are still available. They would make the perfect holiday gift for that steelhead addict in the family.
