Bluefin tuna - magnificent fish too valuable to save

Bluefintuna_greenpeace

Tucked away out of sight of the eyes of the world in Marrakech this week, the   EU played some of the dirtiest tricks imaginable to outflank a proposal by   the United States to cut catches of bluefin to the upper limit that   scientists said was justifiable, 15,000 tons.

Instead, a greedy mob of countries led by the EU pushed through a proposal to   set quotas at 22,000 tons, 50 per cent higher than scientific advice.  LINK (Via:The Telegraph)

Amazing fish. They are definitely under pressure. I'm just glad I got to see a few in the wild.
