Coalbed Methane Rally in Terrace, July 15
From today's inbox.
Friends of Wild Salmon would like to pass along this event notice from our allies at North West Watch in Terrace:
Coalbed Methane Rally
TUESDAY, JULY 15th @ 5:00pm
George Little Park, Terrace, BC
This is an excellent opportunity for Terrace & watershed residents to learn more about the serious risks that Coalbed Methane (CBM) development in the headwaters of the Skeena, Nass & Stikine poses to our salmon, water & wildlife.
The Rally starts at the George Little Park (beside the library) to begin our walk through downtown and across the Sande Overpass to the Shell Open House at the Elks Lodge on Tetrault Street.
We encourage anyone with questions and concerns about CBM to come and lend your voice to this important event. There will be guest speakers, including MP Nathan Cullen.
