This first screen shot, and subsequent LINK, shows the top five dogs in fly fishing e-commerce according to the Google Directory.
This second screen shot and LINK shows an Alexaholic comparison of the daily reach per million for those same top 5 sites over the last six months.
Now compare the above graph to the one below showing the 900 pound gorillas of Fly Fishing e-commerce, Cabelas, Orvis, Bass Pro and Sportsman's Warehouse. A graphic taste of what the biggest independent fly guys face when competing against the big boxes. Think about the even smaller guys for just a second.
However, nothing could have prepared us for this final graph. We substituted The Trout Underground for High Country Flies on the first graph and came up with this.
If my eyes don't deceive me, T.C. at Le Underground has a comparable. and occasionally LARGER, daily reach than the top four fly fishing e-commerce sites! Shit man, ditch those low paying affiliate links and make those big boys pony up some bucks for some advertising.
